Ph.D. student Puneet Kumar and Associate Professor Behnam Dezfouli developed quicSDN, an architecture that uses the QUIC transport protocol to improve communication between software-defined network controllers and devices. Their research shows that quicSDN can outperform traditional TCP-based systems, enabling faster, more efficient, and scalable network management.
