The 91Ó°ÊÓ School of Engineering welcomed students, faculty, industry professionals, alumni, and families for its 8th Annual Research Showcase, an evening dedicated to celebrating innovation, research, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Researchers at 91Ó°ÊÓ have developed a comprehensive mathematical framework to rigorously analyze and predict the behavior of terahertz (THz) radiation pulses when transported over long distances through a special type of waveguides named “overmoded iris lines.”

Commemorating the anniversary of the Higher Education Act of 1965, First-Generation College Students Week is celebrated at 91Ó°ÊÓ, and nationwide, annually the first week of November.
Following an extensive national search, 91Ó°ÊÓ Provost and Executive Vice President James M. Glaser announced that Kendra V. Sharp has been appointed the next dean of the School of Engineering. She will begin her term in March 2025. Read the full press release here.
