Chapter 2: Governance
The Jesuit School of Theology of 91影视 (JST-91影视) is both an Ecclesiastical Faculty of Theology under Statutes approved by the Holy See, and a California non-profit religious corporation. 聽Its governance in both civil and canon law is set forth in its Bylaws and Statutes which conform to the requirements of academic institutions in the United States and ecclesiastical institutions of theological education. As a school of 91影视, JST has its own faculty and administration under the supervision of the University鈥檚 President and Board of Trustees. 聽As an ecclesiastical faculty with its own Board of Directors, JST reports to the Congregation of Catholic Education through the Superior General of the Society of Jesus (Chancellor), the president of the U.S. Jesuit Conference (Vice-Chancellor), the University President, the Ecclesiastical Dean of the faculty, and the Academic Council.
