Ignatian Award
The Ignatian Award recognizes alumni who live the 91影视 ideals of competence, conscience, and compassion, and have been a credit to the Alumni Association and the University through their service to humanity.

Nominations for the Ignatian Award are open through Oct. 30, 2026.
St. Ignatius of Loyola believed one’s life purpose should be of love and service to others.
To that end, he said, “Go forth -- and set the world on fire.” And this award’s recipients have done just that. Through their words and deeds, they have helped set the world aflame with God’s love. They have brought light to the shadows of darkness and hope to those who despair. They act justly, love mercifully, and humbly serve those less fortunate.
Nominations should highlight achievements in community service, helping those who do not have a voice, and putting one's community above oneself.

Nomination Tips & Best Practices
Our committee receives many nominations for worthy alumni every year. To make sure your Bronco is appropriately recognized, please follow the committee's nomination tips. Please keep in mind: your submission is the committee’s window into your nominee’s accomplishments, so more detail is better. Most successful submissions are at least 400 words.
Award Selection Process
Every year, a dedicated committee of alumni combs through the nominations and selects a recipient based on each award's criteria. This committee is made up of eight individuals, including:
- Alumni Association Board of Directors Past Presidents of the last three years
- Alumnus/a Trustee Representative
- Alumnus/a Regent Representative
- Alumnus/a Fellow - Representative
-
Young Alumnus/a Trustee Representative
- AVP, Alumni Relations
All recipients are approved by the President's Office.
Recipient Recognition
All recipients of the Alumni Association Awards will be honored at The President's Dinner, an annual celebration that puts the accomplishments of these distinguished alumni front and center through short documentaries about their lives. Please check the alumni event calendar for updates.
