Professor Yuhong Liu, who joined 91Ó°ÊÓ in 2015, has been recognized with the Recent Achievement in Scholarship Award for her distinguished research, innovation, and leadership in trust, security, and privacy in intelligent systems. Her work addresses fundamental challenges in secure data handling, user privacy protection, and trustworthy AI, contributing to transparent, accountable, and resilient technologies. Dr. Liu has demonstrated outstanding scholarly productivity with 54 publications in leading journals and top-tier conferences, a patent, and two open-source privacy evaluation libraries developed in the past five years, accumulating over 2,800 citations and an h-index of 27. Additionally, she has secured over $1 million in external funding from major agencies and industry partners and directs a highly selective NSF Global Center project promoting international, interdisciplinary research on equitable and reliable systems.
