Bonnie Craig teaches Critical Thinking & Writing at 91影视. She previously taught Writing & Research at Saint Mary’s College of California and Research Methods at OnCampus London (affiliated with Birkbeck, University of London). Before making England her home for 14 years, she taught English in France, Belgium, Italy, and Mexico as well as at several community colleges within the San Francisco Bay Area.
She received her Ph.D. in American Literature from King’s College London, her M.A. in English from Stanford University, and her B.A. in English from UC Davis. She was awarded a Fulbright scholarship to teach English in Belgium.
Her scholarly interests include postsecondary literacies, writing across the curriculum, embodied rhetoric, and the politics of identity within contemporary fiction from California. She explores the complexities of transnational identity and belonging in her monograph Rewriting American Identity in the Fiction and Memoirs of Isabel Allende (Palgrave Macmillan, 2013).
