Anthropology prepares its majors for the jobs of the 21st century.
Combining their degrees with a variety of post-graduate experiences and degree programs, our majors have gone on to a variety of interesting fields. According to Business Insider (March 24, 2014), 鈥渃ompanies are desperate to hire anthropologists鈥 because they can provide 鈥渋nsights that big data tends to gloss over.鈥 In addition to careers in the private sector, many of our majors seek further education in professional and graduate programs. US News and World Report recently ranked Anthropologist as its #4 Best Science Job for 2016 (Archaeologist was close behind at #6).
