Chloe Kaplan, M.S., is a doctoral candidate pursuing her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology at the PAU–Stanford Psy.D. Consortium in Palo Alto, CA. She earned her M.S. in Clinical Psychology from Palo Alto University and her B.A. in Psychology and English from Oxford University and Williams College, where she co-chaired the Mental Health Committee and helped lead campus-wide programming to reduce stigma and support student wellbeing. Chloe has provided individual and group therapy across community mental health, Veterans Affairs, and academic medical center settings, working with adults from diverse backgrounds experiencing concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, emotion regulation difficulties, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. Chloe’s clinical interests include complex trauma and its impact on relationships and sense of self, attachment and interpersonal patterns, identity development, grief, and dissociation. Her approach is integrative and primarily informed by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), contextual behavioral approaches, attachment theory, and interpersonal and emotion-focused perspectives. Chloe approaches therapy with warmth, curiosity, humor, and directness, and views the therapeutic relationship as a collaborative space where students can better understand patterns that may once have been adaptive but are no longer serving them, experiment with new ways of responding, and move toward lives and relationships that feel more meaningful and authentic. In her free time, Chloe enjoys reading historical fiction, mountain biking, exploring the Bay Area, and spoiling her ragdoll cat, Rorschach.
